Rotated Pelvis Cures And Remedies

Stories drums next to distant places

The graphic novel "Dead of Sleep" by David Reviati tells the story of six children raised in the village of Ravenna ANIC, built to house the families of the workers of the pole petrochilmico (1958 ). It is a story about the factory, much less pollution, but the atmosphere described by the pencil Reviati, scenarios designed, can not remember from those near Taranto.
For this (and yet) is a reading that goes there to advise. The book is in bookstores, published by Coconino Press.

How To Make Male Headband

How To Make Male Headband

Ontario Gst On Used Boats

Day after day

We went to Taranto, to kick off our project and meet people who will help us to see through. It all started entering the apartment on the ground floor of Via De Cesare which houses the local branch of ' AIL (Italian Association against Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma). Not much to explain to those who live in Taranto when dealing with a discourse on and about the ILVA. Everyone knows what the situation is. That's why we did not need many words to describe our vision and our goal. The Association, among other things, deals with assistance to cancer patients and we have contacted to carry out a series of portraits. Thanks to President Paola D'Andria Piero Mottolese we know, an incredible character, a former steel mill worker who now spends most of his time to film and photograph what is happening around the factory and say you know exactly what comes out from the smokestacks. With him, we spent 4 hours under the sun in search of the ideal spots to take pictures (the supervision of the refineries has not taken it well) and we toured the streets of drums. For several days an order of the mayor Stefàno forbids children to play in the flower beds contaminated. There is a sign that gives notice to residents. Children playing, however, there are. As Peter himself says, this is a district of the living dead.
In the same day we also met an oncologist, Dr.. Antonio Rinaldi, head of the surgery of Castellaneta, a town half an hour's drive from Taranto. Dr. Rinaldi follows about 1,200 patients, many are just the drums. It gave us some data Interestingly the incidence of the disease and rare diseases that seem to occur more easily in Taranto and elsewhere. Not satisfied with the condition it is working - the health situation in the South is what it is - but it seems pretty combative. There will certainly help.
Now we are in Rome but soon we will return to Taranto to take more photos, meet other people like Paola, Dr. Rinaldi, Ettore group of "liberal and practical Awareness" which also gave us a view from above of Taranto, in his "old city" of the seas that bathe and ILVA that is intoxicating. Relentlessly, day after day.

In What Situations Would A Man Ejeculate

In What Situations Would A Man Ejeculate

Boil Topside How Long?

Taranto Ilva

When a story is told loses the boundaries of private property becomes public. It exposes the comments, the looks, the words on the words of the story it will produce another and another. The stories are well told the most effective way to communicate and to see reality, to open doors, to ensure that staff will come to the universal, from private to public. The images and the words convey in a powerful look, or the assessment, information and interest. Ours is a story told in pictures.

The story we tell is that of a city, the city Taranto. The story of Taranto is closely linked to that of a factory. The facility is called ILVA. The factory, with six plants in Italy, involved in a number of prosecutions for pollution, is now responsible for the Ninety-two percent of total emissions of dioxin in Italy, as well as the release into air and water mercury and other heavy metals. The District Drums Taranto is estimated among the most polluted cities in Italy.

Bond between data of pollution so evident, permanent impairment of the landscape and territory, and risk factors for the health of citizens, there is no doubt.

This story dealing with every day people they call "home" that piece of land, the morning opening the window on the landscape, they breathe that air more than others and drink from those taps. To consider risks on their skin, they see the smoke, dirt, disease. This story then dealing everyday citizens' associations that try to defend health and the environment, the committees for the referendum on the closure of the factory, environmentalists, internet blog, opinions, journalists, photographers, television, in-depth analysis, the dossier, the press. They could spend days reading since the early '60s as the city's history is tied to that of the factory, and the story continues and you can tell.

What we see before our eyes is that the environmental situation in Taranto has only worsened over the years, what interests us evaluate is the private experience, because we are sure that affects us personally, that this is our story.
